The Grange
Self-Catering Accommodation

The best of both worlds - country and sea. The Grange is a beautiful, tastefully furnished, self-catering holiday haven. This spacious, double-storey dwelling offers accommodation for up to 16 guests and is situated within four minutes- drive from the golden beaches of picturesque Kenton-On-Sea and only 2,3 Km's, along the R343 Salem Road, from the entrance to Kenton-on-Sea.

The house is completely private, set amidst acres of landscaped gardens fringed by indigenous trees and coastal bush. There is a scenic walkway leading down to the Bushman's River and our private jetty where you may fish, swim, boat or picnic on the river bank.

You will delight in the downstairs open plan living areas comprising a large, comfortable lounge, a spacious dining area with feature dining table, a dream well-equipped kitchen for your entire self-catering requirements, a utility room complete with dishwasher and washing machine. There is also a downstairs guest toilet.

The six bedrooms comprise three luxury en-suite rooms, another bedroom with four single beds and a further room having two double bunk beds. There is a fourth full bathroom upstairs. In addition, attached to the house downstairs, is a delightful rondavel with queen-size bed.

The grounds are visited by a variety of birds and animals including the Guinea fowl and francolins - looking to be fed - the shy bushbuck may be spotted as it makes its way across the garden on its way down to the river. You may also catch sight of the resident mongooses or be delighted to hear the haunting cry of the fish eagle as it soars overhead.

Activities offered in the area are beaches, walking trails, horse trails, swimming, boating, fishing, wind surfing, water skiing and of course browsing in the many interesting shops and dining deliciously in a variety of restaurants.

Big-five game reserves are close by offering game viewing safaris.

Back at The Grange relax on the large veranda, leading off the dining room, from where you may braai, sip a refreshing drink and take pleasure in looking across the gardens as you watch the sun go down after a pleasure-filled day of holiday activities.
